- ABMS Verification Service (board certification for physicians)
- AMA Physician Select (All licensed medical and osteopathic physicians, but you must specify state in which the doctor practices)
- HealthGrades maintains a searchable database of medical and osteopathic physicians. Its reports cover education and training; specialties; board certification; disciplinary actions. and several other characteristics. It charges $17.95 for the first report and $9.95 for each additional one. Reports are also available on hospitals and nursing homes.
- HealthPulse charges $7.95 for a single report and $11.95 for a 24-hour pass to its entire database.
